High-Performance Computing

Created in April of 2001 by Dr. D. Colburn, Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs, and by Dr. W. Phillips, Vice-President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School, the HPC Committee at UF has as its mission to identify, report, support, and advocate UF faculty HPC interests, needs and opportunities. In addition to its affiliation with research and graduate programs, the committee serves as a standing committee in the new IT advisory structure at UF, which is directed by Dr. Mark Hoit, Interim Associate Provost for Information Technology.

Meetings are on the first Friday of the month at 229 Larsen Hall.
